how it works

EmSculpt NEO uses HIFEM technology to cause muscles to contract at a frequency and intensity that's not possible through exercise alone. The muscle tissue is forced to adapt to such extreme condition. It responds with a deep remodeling of its inner structure that results in muscle building and sculpting your body. This can give you improved muscle tone with better fat reduction.

An applicator is placed on the target muscle area, such as your abs, thighs, or buttocks. The applicator then stimulates involuntary muscle contractions. These contractions trigger the release of free fatty acids, which break down fat deposits and increase muscular tone and strength, similar to the way during a workout. You may feel intense muscle contractions and a heating sensation in the treated area, comparable to a hot stone massage.

Physiq targets both fat reduction and muscle stimulation simultaneously, while Emsculpt Neo primarily focuses on muscle stimulation with added radiofrequency technology to also address some fat reduction; essentially, Physiq offers a more comprehensive approach to body contouring by tackling both fat and muscle in a single treatment session, whereas Emsculpt Neo primarily aims to build muscle definition with some fat burning capabilities.
A patient might want to do emsculpt on their glutes and physiq on their inner and outer thighs! Both treatments are highly customizable based on your goals.
You can as long as the devices are placed on two different areas! Your provider will come up with the best treatment plan for you.
This varies from patient to patient, but usually, a total of 6 treatments is recommended. Some patients might need additional treatments but that will be determined at consultation. Treatments are 30 minutes and are scheduled 5-10 days apart.
Typically, one treatment every 6-12 months for maintenance is required to maintain results. Maintenance sessions are sold at a significant discount.
The EmSculpt procedure may cause discomfort but is not painful. However, due to the technology specifically targeting the muscles within the treatment area, the procedure will feel like an intense workout. The procedure is delivered with the client laid almost flat to help them feel relaxed.
After the treatment, the dead fat cells are flushed out from the body through your lymphatic system metabolic processes. Using a product such as Skinmedica Firm and Tone or Alastin Transform help speed up this process.
Typically no, the EmSculpt procedure does not help with weight reduction however, we do see a loss in inches., increase in muscle mass, and decrease in fat mass.
